People are complaining because this film does not feature the original Macaulay Culkin, but that doesn't bother me at all. I don't care that much for originals, all I want is a good movie. I think Alex does a perfectly fine job. The crooks are smarter, the booby traps are better, and the plot line is more complex. Though it was released five years after Home Alone 2, it only goes to show that the series is still strong (until 2002, that is, when Home Alone 4 came out). This film is highly recommended.
