My wife and I are big kids when it comes to movies. Before meeting each other we each had a collection of animated movies and would often buy any Disney, Pixar or Dream Works animated movie without viewing assuming it would be great for us to watch then and eventually with our kids. I gave this 4 stars as the cast is great (Gene Hackman, Slyvester Stalone etc...), the story line is good and overall it's very entertaining. My disappointment is this: I can't let my kids watch it yet! Each parent is going to have their own rules and words that they'll tolerate their kids saying. With that said, my daughter is 3 and two words that I, personally, don't think is appropriate for her to say are 'damn' and 'hell'. Being 3 she'll repeat anything she hears thus my comment about her not being able to watch it. When you throw in the fact that there's more graphic violence in this animated movie than any I've ever seen it makes me disappointedly put a good movie aside until she's older. How much older? I haven't figured that out yet. To summarize, this movie has the words 'damn' and 'hell' in it, graphic violence and even a couple sexual innuendos. If you find this appropriate or don't mind if your child is exposed to this buy this movie and know you're getting an enjoyable one. If you don't want your child exposed to the above mentioned items I suggest getting one or more of the following that my 3 year old loves: A Bug's Life, The Lion King, A Goofy Movie, The Incredibles, The Little Mermaid 1 and 2, Cinderella etc...
