About the Actor

Bruce Mercury and Gretchen Janke are producers/ writers/ directors and actors as well as nature buffs. In addition to their Hawaiian Collection of Nature/Travel DVDs, they have written and directed the indie action-adventure feature, Band of Pirates and are turning the story into a novel as well. Bruce Mercury has appeared in over 200 films and television shows including, "Hook", "Laws of Deception" and "Star Trek: Next Generation". Gretchen has appeared in the indie feature film "Super Spy" and performed in many theatrical productions in Regional Theatre. Gretchen has also directed stage shows for the Hawaii Children's Theatre in 2001.
